Emily Cole (The Civic Commons)

Emily works at a local non-profit, the Civic Commons, which is a new way to bring communities together with conversation and emerging technology. She also worked at Albion College and CWRU since 2001 in undergraduate admission and alumni relations. Her passion for her community and for higher education stems from her commitment to Cleveland and with young adults. She graduated from the College of Wooster, and played on the varsity soccer team. Additionally, she has coached soccer at both the high school and collegiate levels and has been involved in athletics most of her life. She was introduced to Liz Ferro and GWS by a dear friend, came to the first meeting, and has been a part of GWS ever since. Girls With Sole is one of her passions and she hopes to be involved for years to come. She is proud of all of the GWS girls and is confident they are all lacing up for a lifetime of achievement one class and one race at a time!
